Department of Family and Consumer Studies

Our goal is to make 100% of the Family and Consumer Studies Department's 2007/8 electricity wind generated. Based upon the total electricity consumption and number of people working at the U, this goal will be reached when, on average, each full-time worker (faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate students - total of 35 individuals) contributes $30/year. This value is given for reference purposes. Some members or friends of the Department will be unable to contribute at that level, other individuals may chose to donate at a higher level, or even to adopt this as one of their major charitable causes.
