University of Utah Medical Students

Our goal is to donate an average of $5 per student for each of the 400 enrolled medical students. The 100% goal of $2,000 would fund 667,000 kwh of wind-generated electricity.

Some students will be unable or unwilling to contribute at the $5 level (donations are anonymous). Others may chose to donate at a higher level, for example, $30 would fund wind power equal to the annual use by an average US household and $90 would make an average US household climate neutral. Some people may even choose to adopt this as one of their major charitable causes. This campaign is also open to anyone else that wants to support the Medical Students in this effort, and there is no penalty for exceeding the 100% target.
