Campaigns for Sustainable Energy

Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School

The 73 students in the fourth grade at RHSM have met their goal to make their share of the grid electricity come from new wind sources. Based upon the total electricity use by the school per year and the total number of full-time students, this was achieved when each student, on average, donated $3.17. The students challenged themselves to donate their own money or earn $3, $4, or $5 for this campaign and will now challenge other students in the school to do the same. Great job, kids!

Parents and other friends of RHSM might also wish to donate to this campaign to offset their household electricity use ($30/year), work electricity ($30/year), total household fossil fuel ($90/yr), flying ($5/average domestic roundtrip), or more generally at any amount to support the development of new renewable energy resources.
